The Schofield & Sims Progress Papers provide rigorous all-round practice for the end of Key Stage 2, and may also be suitable for some younger and older pupils. The series is designed for use as revision or extension work, or as preparation for the 11+ examinations, including those set by CEM (the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring) at Durham University. The papers are intended for children to work through systematically with an adult who can provide assistance and diagnose key issues. An index of topics covered is provided in each book, which allows you to select appropriate out answer as each test is completed. Covering more than 80 topic areas, the Progress Papers in Mathematics contain a wide range of exercises through which mathematical knowledge and skills are developed and consolidated. Each area increases in difficulty through the series, providing a clear measure of children's progress and understanding. Progress Papers in Mathematics 3 comprises seven papers, each containing 20 sets of five questions. The topics in Book 3 include: long division, long multiplication and divisibility rules; estimation, averages, probability and problem solving; negative numbers, number lines and algebra; fractions, decimals and percentages; ratio, proportion and unequal sharing; symmetry, scale, angles and degrees; graphs, charts and coordinates.
