"F**k Elvis and Keith Richards, Lemmy's the king of rock 'n' roll". So tweeted Dave Grohl on the news that his hero, Ian Fraser Kilmister - better known to the world as Lemmy had passed on to that great rock n' roll graveyard in the sky. And it wasn't hard to see his point; Lemmy survived for almost exactly 70 years, a reasonable span in anybody's book, despite what many might see as a debauched lifestyle, during which he created and performed some of the finest rock music ever made. This compilation of classic interviews with the great icon himself, recorded at various points throughout his career, both celebrates and remembers the awesome musical and personal life of Lemmy. During these sessions the main-man discusses all manner of topics, not least his own history, but as well everything from his feelings about the Paris terrorist attacks which took place just a month before his death, to the impact of Punk, the musical influences that had the most impact on his music and the music business in general. Often poignant, regularly hilarious and almost always smart, insightful and intelligent - albeit never afraid to speak his mind - these interviews reveal the thoughts and words of a man so obviously clever and witty whenever the occasion demands it, and as down to earth as anybody who ever picked up a guitar - and a whole lot more-so than plenty who didn't.
