On 10th April 1971 David Bowie’s The Man Who Sold the World album was released in the UK and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release we will be releasing
The Width of a Circle a 2CD set of additional, rare and live recordings which are complimentary to the album.
The set contains two live performances from early 1970 The Sunday Show Introduced by John Peel and Sounds Of The 70’s both performed by David Bowie and The Hype, it also feature five songs by Bowie from The Looking Glass Murders aka Pierrot In Turquoise plus 2020 Mixes of five tracks including The Prettiest Star.
The Width of a Circle contains 2CD plus a 48 page booklet all housed in a hard back book style package with have a textured outer wrap with a soft touch lamination

Originally recorded and rejected as the follow up single to ‘Space Oddity’ This mono mix was finally release on the Sound & Vision box set in 1989.

This stereo mix of the above remained unreleased until the reformatted reissue of the Sound & Vision box set in 2003, replacing the mono mix.

from ‘The Man Who Sold The World’ album, was released on Mercury Records 6052 049 on 15th January, 1971.
