Best remembered as the spiky-haired lead singer of 1980s new-wave band Til Tuesday, Aimee Mann went on to toil in obscurity until her solo work on the soundtrack to P.T. Anderson's 1999 film MAGNOLIA finally led her to breakthrough success. Mann's achingly lovely vocals and criminally underrated songwriting skills are on fine display in this June 2004 concert, which was recorded at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to backstage interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, Mann's performance includes live renditions of pop gems such as "4th of July," "Stupid Thing," "Long Shot," "Amateur," "Save Me," and many more.
